  Q. Is there a workaround to get older scanners to work with OS 10.5 Leopard?

  A. To use older Microtek ScanMaker models with Leopard, try the following steps:

  1. Download and install ScanWizard 5 v7.565 from our FTP site
  2. Copy and save the driver for your scanner from:

    Library/Application Support/ScanWizard 5 V7/Support Bundles/Scanner_Drivers


  3. Download and install ScanWizard 5 v7.60 from our FTP site


  4. Copy your saved driver to:

    Library/Application Support/ScanWizard 5 V7/Support Bundles/Scanner_Drivers
Please note that these are NOT official drivers, and this work around is NOT GUARANTEED to work.
