Microtek MTMA

The MTMA, or Magnetic Transparent Media Adapter, is a patented device for scanning film in multiple formats -- up to 7" x 7" when used with a regular, letter-size (8.5" x 11.7") scanner, and up to 7" x 10" when used with a legal-size (8.5" x 14") scanner. The magnets attached to the underside of the MTMA propel the device along the length of the scan bed once you initiate a film scan, so that the MTMA skims smoothly over your film, capturing image information seamlessly.
