Insert and replace documents
After finishing a scan job, DocWizard allows users to check, insert or replace scanned documents and does not affect ordering of original scanned files.

Splitting of Pages
When scanning of a book, “Split” function divides scanned files into odd and even pages and saves them separately, convenient for checking up and overview in the future. Split function also allows user to divide multi-folded image files into separated pages.

Merging of Pages
When a scanned target is larger than the scan area of a scanner, users can scan the target partially and then use "Merge" function to organize and batch these pieces vertically or horizontally into a complete file automatically. (Ex. When scanning piles of A4 documents, "Merge" function combines every two A4 documents as one A3 document.)

Merging Manually
DocWizard allows users to Merging pieces of images scanned separately into a large-sized file, removing overlapped parts and completing an integrated file.

Smart Book Scan
After finishing scan of a bindery book, by just one click, DocWizard will split the book into pages by orders. Furthermore, users can choose to output these pages into Word or PDF files.

Batching scanned files in several methods
Besides batching scanned files by a normal way, users can also batch them by several ways, such as page counting, blank pages, barcodes or OCR. The scanned files will be grouped and sent to the assigned folder automatically depending on the batching method users chose. There is no need to sort and classify the files in a complicated and manual process.

Outputting images in Color and B&W Simultaneously
By just one scan, users can get both color and black-and-white images. Color images are suitable for being used to recognize and check up, requiring with high resolutions. Black-and-white images are good for keeping sizes of saved files small.

4-bit grayscale images
Under same scanning conditions, the size of 4-bit grayscale images is half of that of 8-bit grayscale images, which provide users more storage space in computer disks.

Preset settings
Base on personal preferences, users are able to save common-used scan settings as preset settings and then use them later when necessary, eliminating unnecessary repetitions and fastening working speed.

Advanced Techniques in File Processing

Auto-deskew and Manual-deskew
When a scanned image is tilted, users can choose the Auto-deskew function or adjust the tilted image in horizontal and vertical directions manually for proper alignment and better recognition.

Remove black borders and punch holes
According to the scanner in use, the system will detect and fill black borders or punch holes in white during scanning, making after-scanned image clean and pleasing.

Auto text orientation
According to the selected language, software will rotate a scanned image into a readable direction automatically.

Remove blank pages automatically
Software can detect and remove blank pages from a pile of scanned files, ensuring cleanness and continuity for the after-scanned images.

Crop partial parts of images
Users are allowed to crop the parts which are useful to them in a scanned image, removing unnecessary information and keeping saved files in reasonable sizes.

Remove spots
Selected by a frame, DocWizard enables users to choose and to delete unwanted spots in a scanned image.

Rotate images
Users can rotate after-scanned images in any angles and mirror them as preferred.

Applying OCR to a Selected and Partial Section
DocWizard allows users to apply OCR to a selected and partial section of a scanned target, avoiding waste of time to process OCR to whole sections of a scanned target.
